Guest vocals by Amée Chanter (Hate Fuck, Human Leather)
lyrics
"Poor John, I hear he died in a most godawful way"
"I hear he laid alone for a thousand days"
"I hear his corpse is in a terrible way"
"I heard it was an accident"
"I heard it was incurable"
"I heard he died the way he lived"
"I heard he did it to himself"
"Oh John, we miss your smile, it's something that we can't recall"
"I miss those tales of how you did those things you did"
"We heed this tale of how you lost it all"
"I can't say that I knew him well and I barely recall his face"
"I did not know him"

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Terrific, marauding post-punk that will thrill fans of Idles with its pairing of cutting riffs and wry spoken/sung lyrics. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 26, 2022
